Organization is a fundamental part of who I am. I thrive on structure and order. That's why I set quarterly goals for my self, track them on a monthly basis, and set weekly benchmarks for myself to ensure I don't deviate from them. I have a to-do list that I follow everyday. These organization skills bleed into all aspects of my life — from personal to professional.

We are all part of an interconnected world that is rapidly converging with the increasingly risky realm of cyberspace. As an aspiring ethical hacker, I feel a responsibility to strengthen the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of computer systems and information in cyberspace. I take my learning very seriously in order to fulfill this responsibility.

Passion is the limitless fuel that keeps me going everyday as I work on personal projects until past midnight, even after a long day of numerous responsibilities. My work in offensive security doesn't feel like work because I love what I do. That's passion.

Although I have affinity for structure and order, I can also think outside the box. In practice, this means I am always thinking of creative ways to solve problems. This is essential in cybersecurity, as the ever-evolving nature of cyber threats require innovative solutions. By combining my natural inclination towards structure and order with my ability to think outside the box, I can effectively tackle complex cybersecurity challenges.

_curiosity

As a kid, I wanted to become an astronaut. Although exploring the cosmos is no longer in my cards, the same curiosity that kept me wondering what's out there in outerspace as a kid is the same curiosity that keeps me exploring what threats are currently out there in cyberspace. I want to understand the threats, how they work, how I can defend against them, what systems they target, what programming languages they are written in, what line 69 of eternal_blue.py does — everything! I want to know it all, from top to bottom.
